I am a meteorologist that loves telling compelling weather stories that weave social media with weather technology, into a product that is valuable to both the audience and the station. Today’s weather story is more than just radar and a 7-day forecast. Live cameras, reports from social media, and the latest in weather technology can be combined to paint a vivid picture of how the weather is going to impact your day. Utilizing these platforms for communication creates an image that our grease pencil forefathers could only dream of.

I have experience with WSI, Weather Central, Weather Bug and I love to push the systems to their limits. Ideas for new products, graphics, and methods of conveying weather information are never in short supply. I am not afraid to report on news stories and in fact I actually enjoy it. I bring energy and excitement to work every day and I absolutely love what I do.
